Billerica, Ma - 2011

As they say in the Boston Area the 2011 Reunion in Billerica, Ma was "Wicked Awesome"! We stayed at the wonderful Marriott Courtyard Hotel in Bellerica, Ma. This Reunion was billed as "The Magical History Tour" and it didn't disappoint as we were very near the historical areas of Lexington & Concord, the site of "The Shot Heard Around The World".  We enjoyed a bus and walking tour of Boston & surrounding areas, a tour of the Minuteman Trail where the initial Revolutionary Battle began. A trip to Marblehead & Salem provided a rich history of the maritime life and religious beliefs of the early days preceding the formation of the United States. Every wonder where the majority of the country's textiles came from in the 17 & 1800's?  Lowell, Ma, as we found out on our canal tour, was the textile Capital of the colonies for quite some time.
