After four straight Reunions in the summer heat of Florida it was decided to travel to a more moderate climate. Ticonderoga, NY fit the bill perfectly. Nestled on the boarder of New York and VErmont and at the south end of Lake Champlain, Ticonderoga provided us with majestic scenery, wonderful historic encounters and an area ripe with exploration opportunities. A wonderful time was had by all. We had great accommodations at the Best Western Ticonderoga Inn & Suites where there was always some fun and games going on. We held our picnic at Crown Point State Historic Site filled with fun, food, games, kite building and flying and history. We took a side trip to Lake Placid where we were hosted by the Denis family in their new townhome.
